Just got this yesterday and so far it seems pretty accurate. I put 60 lbs of gym weights on it and it was off by about .2 lb. I don't need it to be absolutely accurate just as long as it's close and consistent. It looks great. The backlight is a big plus. I actually bought this at Costco. It was about $25 with a $5 off sale, so it cost me $20.
