They say to take this product an hour before meals to reduce appetite, thus eat less to aid weight loss. It does take away hunger for that period of time but you feel just as hungry a short while after your meal. This product did not help my bowel movements to become more regular at all. I don't think this product is any more effective in temporarily reducing your appetite than a cup of coffee or green tea.
