I'm on a low-carb diet and use this for at least one meal.It fills me up very well.I use a blender with some Splenda to sweeten it up and it's pretty good, especially with a straw, to make me feel special.Sometimes I add a little unsweetened yogurt to give it a tang and extra creaminess and that makes it even better.

Shapeworks Quickstart Vanilla Review

I was thrilled when I received my kit. The detail and picture is vague and I couldn't tell exactly what all I was getting. I opened the box and there was a container of the protien powder also, so I'm glad I didn't purchase that in addition. In the kit there was the shake mix (750g), personalized protien powder (360g), multi-vitamin (90tabs), cell activatior (120tabs), and the original tea (1.8oz). Hope this helps anyone who was wondering.

Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan, Shake Mix, Strawberry Supreme, 12.83-Ounce Canister (Pack of 3) Review

I have been using Slimfast for quite a while as I have lost weight and now need to work at keeping healthy with my food choices.I used the Slimfast Optima in the cans for the longest time.They were fine but very bulky to purchase and store and though the drinks did fill me up for 4 hours as stated they weren't such a treat while drinking them.They tasted fine but were somewhat bland.

I ordered this powdered version for convenience sake.The order comes with 3 cans - 14 shakes per jar - for a total of 42 shakes.What a great deal!But most importantly I have the freedom to make the shakes to my preference for a treat just like a milk shake.With the directions they say you can just mix it with milk and drink.I don't recommend this - very boring.Definitely use a blender.I use the powder, ice and milk in the blender and add my favorite fruit as well.What I get is a frothy, tasty, cold delicious treat that I look forward to drinking.I savor it and it holds me over for 4 hours and is so preferable to the premade shakes in a can.

It is important to remember that no nutrition/diet item is a miracle worker.This product will give you meal supplements that you will love to drink but it still rests on you to make healthy choices the rest of the time.Slimfast does have great tools for free on their site to help you as you try to loose weight and eat healthy.

Highly recommend this product.

The vitamins/minerals are somewhat similar in these two drinks and can be found on the Nutrition Facts on the cans.The biggest difference is that Slim Fast Low Carb has about 73% more calories and 70 more Fat calories per drink.

The taste, which I was concerned about when I order my first case of 24 drinks, is similar with the main difference that the Slim Fast Low Carb has a smoother, creamier texture.I experimented with adding about 80 calories of cream to a ZOIC drink and it definitely acquired a smoother, creamier texture.The overall taste of both drinks, in my opinion, is a good taste; but not a great taste.I would give these products a 4.5 rating if I could.

The Slim Fast Low Carb drink with its extra 70 more calories from Fat seems to satisfy my hunger perhaps 30 minutes longer than the ZOIC drink (without any cream added).ZOIC's package states "meal complement & snack replacement" not a meal replacement; in other words, it seems logical that one would add a small portion of other healthful food to make it a meal.

Both drinks refrain from adding any sugar orsugar alcohols (make sure you are comparing Slim Fast "Low Carb" and not other Slim Fast drinks which do have sugar added).Both drinks are free from Trans Fat.

I like to use both drinks to give me variety in taste and calories.The ZOIC drink at only 110 calories is a good choice when I want less calories and less fat calories; perhaps, when a planned meal time has to be pushed back in time by a couple of hours.If I need something to skip a meal, then I will usually choose Slim Fast Low Carb.

Both of these "Low Carb" drinks are good to have on hand in the refrigerator, so you can choose 110 or 190 calories versus some other super-sized 500 plus calorie item that may be in the refrigerator too.
